2011 Andy Passero Bass Classic
Written by Sarah on January 16, 2012
Another great event that was held in 2011 to support Casting for a Cure was the Andy Passero Bass Classic in Fort Erie, ON. This annual event raised over $4,000.00 to benefit Casting for a Cure! There were over 80 adult competitors and over 30 kids that participated in this great annual event! This event was started by James Dunn in memory of his friend Andy Passero who passed way in a tragic vehicle accident 2 years ago. Andy was a well-known businessman who also did great things for the community he lived in.
The Andy Passero Bass Classic is a great event in honor of a local friend that also raises funds for cancer research and the hope of finding a cure. It also gets kids involved in the great sport of fishing. Thank you to James Dunn, his team and all those that participated and enjoyed a day on the water while making a difference in the fight against cancer.
