FACTS OF FISHING LIVE presented by SUBWAY® restaurants

Written by Dave Mercer on March 28, 2011

Due to overwhelming demand and the unbelievable support of Subway® restaurants, Facts of Fishing LIVE presented by Subway® restaurants is back!

Fishing funnyman and host of TV’s Facts of Fishing, Dave Mercer will once again be joined by pro angler and host of WFN’s Getting School’d, J.P. DeRose and Facts of Fishing Great Lakes Trolling Specialist, Paul Powis. These three fishing freaks will be hitting the road in a quest to share their tips, tricks and stories with anglers across Ontario.

This year’s tour is even bigger than in the past! Sure, it will involve the same lights, excitement and video as before, but this time the venues they’ve chosen are all theatres allowing for a bigger and better show that can accommodate more attendees.

Once again Facts of Fishing LIVE will be FREE of charge thanks to the great support from the local Subway® restaurants. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or somebody just starting out, Facts of Fishing LIVE will have you laughing, learning and hooked on the sport of fishing!

Thanks for you message and I’m glad you are a fan of the show. However I
don’t know how you can call Alberta the forgotten province since I was
in Calgary for a seminar just a few weeks ago? Did you come to that one

Awesome show last night! I took my wife and she doesn’t even fish. After the show she said it was really cool except for the “I’m awesome guy in the audience”. I really liked how the three guys stayed back and signed autographs, thanks for signing my book of “135 Secrets Fish Don’t Want You To Know!”

Great show in kitchener-Waterloo! I took my wife who isn’t a fisher and after the show she said “It was a great show except for the I’m Awesome guy in the audience.” I really liked how you guys stayed back and signed autographs and thanks for signing my book “135 Secrets Fish Don’t Want You To Know.” Come back again!

I thought the guy with the “I’m Awewsome” shirt added a bit of fun to the show. I enjoy fishing myself and found it to be very helpful. However, to be honest it wasn’t very entertaining until that guy was involved. It’s sad how some people can’t appreciate the fact that others try to enjoy life. I could understand if the information you were providing was not being able to be shared but it was. Life is too short to not enjoy it. I hope everyone else enjoyed the show too.

I thought the “I’m Awesome Guy” was well awesome. I have no problem with someone like that having fun in the show. Some people don’t like it but if you ask me it adds to the fun. Fun is what Facts of Fishing is all about.
