I had great success with the Wacky Worm rig last year, found using a #0/1 or #0/2 sized circle hook works best because it’s more subtle, the fish grabs the worm, turns and tries to swim away and ends up hooking itself (odd, 90% of the bass I caught were hooked in the left part of the jaw, learned a behavioural aspect of them) and little chance of ‘gut hook’.
