If your going to catch and release, refrain from sticking your hands in the gills. You are teaching too many people the wrong way to safely catch and release a fish.

Thanks for watching the show & thank you for your feedback. However please understand that I always do everything possible to protect the fish. At no time did I have my fingers in the gills of the fish as you believe. My fingers were on the gill plates which is not damaging to the fish at all. Dave
